Vandals Add 40 for Early Signing Period

MOSCOW, Idaho –  Vandal football welcomes in 39 additions  on the first day of the early signing period. The group includes 13 Idaho prep standouts, including six from North Idaho.

Along with the emphasis on Idaho players, it also set a clear priority to improve in the trenches. Fifteen players are projected to play offensive of defensive line.

The class is the first class for the Jason Eck led Vandals that included an entire evaluation and recruiting period.

There are three transfers in the mix, Linebacker Tre Thomas from South Dakota, Jaxin McCallum from South Dakota Mines and Cam Stephens from Victor Valley CC. All three transfer students will join the Vandals in January. Also joining Idaho in the spring is freshman Jaxton Eck, who will join his family in Moscow after finishing his senior year of high school football in South Dakota. International Malakai Railton-Stewart from Brisbane Australia will also join the Vandals in January.

The Vandals are expected to add additional signees later in the spring with an emphasis on the transfer portal.

For more on each player, visit the Signing Day Central Page.
