OREM, Utah – Vandal women's basketball fell to Utah Valley 59-57 Wednesday afternoon in Orem.
 
Tiana Johnson was 5-9 from the three-point line to score a game-high 21 points and Beyonce Bea scored 13 points at 10 rebounds for her 22nd-career double-double.
 
The Vandals were 20-64 (31.2%) from the field while Utah Valley was 21-58 (36.2%).
 
Idaho led late but closed the game 1-9 from the field allowing UVU to clinch the two-point lead.
 
The Vandals are off through Christmas before opening Big Sky Play on Dec. 29 against Montana State at ICCU Arena in Moscow.
