MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho women's basketball is back on the road for a pair of neutral-site games against former conference foes at the University of San Diego Winter Classic. The Vandals meet Nevada Saturday before playing New Mexico State Sunday.

Tiana Johnson, who is taking advantage of her covid year to play a fifth season of basketball. Bea is averaging 22.5 points per game to lead the way for Idaho, best in the Big Sky Conference and 10th in the NCAA. The Vandals welcome in six newcomers, including a pair of transfers in
Jenna Kilty (Portland State) and Malone (Idaho State).Â
ABOUT NEVADA: The Wolfpack are 2-3 on the season with wins over DII Stanislaus State and Milwaukee. Lexie Givens leads the way for Nevada at 10.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Five players average over eight points per game.Â
SERIES HISTORY: The Vandals hold an 18-17 edge over former Big Sky opponent Nevada. The have only met once on a neutral court, a win for Nevada.Â
ABOUT NEW MEXICO STATE: The Aggies are 2-4 on the year with wins over New Mexico Highlands, and an overtime win over New Mexico. Fama Thiam leads the way for the Aggies at 10.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Four players score 8.8 points per game.Â
