HOUSTON – After three days of competition, Idaho swim and dive is currently in sixth at the Western Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.
 
The Vandals finished day three with 255 points. Northern Arizona leads the way with 514 points.
Zoe Froh moved on to the A final in the 400-yard individual medley after touching the wall in prelims at 4:23.66. She placed fourth, improving her time by over two seconds (4:21.56) to set the second fastest 400 IM mark in school history. 
Haylee Buyers and 
Amelia Buyers went 1-2 in the bonus final, as H. Buyers clocked in at 4:31.53 and A. Buyers finished at 4:34.25. 
Kaling Phung was the top-finisher for Idaho in the 100-yard butterfly, as she placed sixth in the final and bettered her time by over a half second (55.74). 
Caitlin Smith was 13th overall in 56.66 seconds while teammate 
Bindi Pedersen was 15th in 56.90 seconds.
Two Vandals scored points for Idaho in the 200-yard freestyle. 
Rylie Jones placed fourth in the A final in 1:50.40, increasing her time by just under two seconds from prelims. 
Sarah Shaffer finished third in the B final to score six points for the Vandals. 
Laura Rodriguez-Fernandez had the highest finish for the Silver and Gold in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing 18th overall in 1:05.07.    
   
Ani Husaby earned a sixth place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.67 seconds in the final. Phung also moved on to the final, touching the wall at 56.68 to place eighth. 
The 400-yard medley relay squad of Husaby, Rodriguez, R. Jones and Haskins placed seventh in 3:47.57.
