GREELEY, Colo. - Idaho men's basketball fell short to Northern Colorado 98-94 on Saturday night at the Bank of Colorado Arena.
The Vandals shot 55.6 percent from the field and went 13-of-27 from behind the arc. Junior
Trevante Anderson delivered a career-high 32 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the floor. He did about everything for Idaho, as he also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out six assists.

Rashad Smith added 22 points with a 6 for 8 clip from three and
Tanner Christensen shot 70 percent from the floor and pitched in 16 points.
Idaho allowed Northern Colorado to shoot 55.7 percent from the floor and knock down 12 3-pointers.
The Bears led for a large part of the first half, as they built a 53-40 advantage after 20 minutes of action. UNC did its damage in the opening period, shooting 63.6 percent while hitting nine threes on 15 attempts.
Northern Colorado grabbed its largest lead in the second half, with a 16 point advantage at the 17:25 mark. Idaho was able to make it a single-digit deficit at multiple points in the second period before the Bears would make timely buckets to stop any momentum for the Vandals.
The Silver and Gold used a 14-6 run in the final minute to make it a four-point game (98-94), but Idaho saw its comeback come up short as the final buzzer sounded.
NEXT UP: The Vandals finishes out the regular season at home with a pair of games at ICCU Arena against Portland State and Northern Arizona. UI will first host the Vikings on Mar. 3 (6 p.m.) before taking on the Lumberjacks on Mar. 5 at 2 p.m. for Senior Night.
