LONG BEACH, Calif. – Idaho women's tennis dropped a dual match to Long Beach State, 4-0 on Thursday afternoon at the Rhodes Tennis Center.

The Vandals fell behind early in the match, falling at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Ines Oliveira and Ke Syuan Jhang fell to Long Beach State's Zara Lennon and Sheena Masuda 6-4 while Andrea Redondo and Saffron Dowse dropped their match 6-2.
 
In singles play, LBSU won at the No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6 positions to ultimately clinch the match victory. The remaining three matches went unfinished.

Horacek lost in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0 to Arina Babkova at No. 6.

In the No. 5 spot, Palma was defeated 6-3, 6-0 to push the score to 3-0.

The match was clinched after Lennon earned a 6-4, 6-4 win over Jhang.

NEXT UP: The Vandals wrap up non-conference play at UC Irvine on Saturday, March 19. The match will get underway at 10 a.m.
