PHOENIX – The Idaho women's tennis team's season came to a close on Thursday morning at the Big Sky Conference Tournament, dropping a 4-1 decision to in-state rival Idaho State at the Phoenix Tennis Center.
The Bengals got out to a 1-0 lead after defeating the Vandals at doubles No. 2 and No. 3.
Ke Syuan Jhang and
Melissa Huchet led 4-1 at No. 1 before ISU earned the doubles point.
In singles, the Silver and Gold was unable to grab any sort of momentum as Idaho State earned three wins to clinch the match and move on to the semifinals. Jhang secured Idaho's lone point during the match, defeating ISU's No. 1 Hana Cho 6-1, 6-1.
