SPOKANE, Wash. – Despite blustery conditions at the Whitworth Peace Meet, the Vandals had five first-place finishes and set several personal bests including a top mark in the conference Friday afternoon.
Hannah Ringel's shot put throw of 15.69 meters (51'5.75") is the best in the Big Sky this 2022 season. Her throw was not only a personal best but is over two feet farther than the next closest mark. Her throw put her 28
th on the NCAA West Performance List.
Joseph Ruddell season's best jump of 2.08 meters won the high jump and also placed him 31
st on the NCAA West Performance List.
Nathyn Maller won the Javelin with a personal best throw of 61.28 meters that moved him up to 41
st on the NCAA West Performance List.
