MOSCOW, Idaho – University of Idaho soccer hosts four opponents and an exhibition game in the non-conference play and home Big Sky games against Idaho State, Portland State, Sacramento State and Eastern Washington highlight the 2022 schedule released Thursday.

"I am very excited about our schedule this fall," head coach Jeremy Clevenger said. "We will play a lot of different types of teams that will ultimately prepare us to compete in the conference play. I know our players are looking forward to competing this season."

The Vandals open the 2022 season with a home exhibition game against Calgary on August 8, at the Kibbie Dome. Idaho then hits the road for games at Washington on August 11, UC San Diego on August 18 and San Diego State on August 21.

Idaho comes home to the Kibbie Dome on August 28 to host Nevada before traveling to the Midwest to play St. Thomas (Sept. 1) and Chicago State (Sept. 4).

The Vandals closes non-conference play with three home games. Idaho hosts Louisiana on September 9, 
UC Santa Barbara on September 12 and North Dakota State on September 16.

The Vandals travel to Weber State to open Big Sky play on September 22 before hosting Idaho State on September 25 in the ICCU Battle of the Domes.

Idaho travels to Montana on September 30, Northern Colorado on October 2 and Northern Arizona on October 9 in the road finale.

The Vandals host three consecutive teams to close out the regular season with Portland State coming to the Kibbie Dome on October 14. Sacramento State travels to Moscow on October 16 before the regular-season finale on October 23 against Eastern Washington.

The Big Sky Championship is scheduled for Nov. 2-6 in Greeley, Colorado.

Admission to Vandal soccer remains free for the 2022 season. The Vandals report for fall practice on Aug. 1.
