Joins Etha Engomis in Cyprus

MOSCOW, Idaho – Former Idaho standout guard Mikey Dixon has inked a professional contract to play overseas, signing with Etha Engomis of the OPAP Basket League in Cyprus.

Dixon competed for one season with the Vandals, where he received All-Big Sky Honorable Mention recognition following the 2021-22 season. He started in all 31 games as a senior, posting 16.6 points per game on 42.8 percent shooting from the floor and 40 percent from behind the arc. Dixon also shot a Big Sky Conference leading 87.2 percent from the free throw line.

The 6-2 guard posted the sixth highest scoring average in the league after totaling 515 points in his lone season in Moscow. He was instant offense all season long for the Vandals with 20 or more points in 10 games, including a career-high 35 points in a 98-84 win over Summit League Conference champions South Dakota State.

Etha Engomis competes in the OPAP Basket League, a 12-team league in the eastern Mediterranean Sea in Cyprus's capital of Nicosia. To learn more about Etha, click here.
