MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandal soccer team is on the road this week to face Portland State on October 6
th at 6:00 p.m. The Vandals will face the Sacramento State Hornets on October 8
th at 1:00 p.m. to conclude the road trip. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

ABOUT IDAHO: Idaho soccer played the University of Montana on Sunday night (10/1) in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. The match ended in a loss for the Vandals, going 0-2 against the Griz. The Vandals put in all the effort but didn't get any luck in this match, placing 17 shots against Montana. Idaho enters the week with a 1-1-1 conference record.
ABOUT PORTLAND ST: The Vikings head into this week with a 2-0-1 conference record. This past weekend they faced Sacramento St. Portland St. beat the Hornets 1-0 giving them the No. 1 seed currently for the Big Sky.
The last time the Vandals and Vikings faced off it ended in a 3-1 victory for Idaho. Two of the three goals were scored by returners
Jayd Sprague and
Margo Schoesler. The overall record for the Vandals vs. Viking is 12-6-0.
ABOUT SACRAMENTO ST: Sacramento State enters this week off a loss from Portland State. This leaves their record at 1-1-1 and tailing just behind the Vandals in the Big Sky rankings. In the previous week the Hornets took on Northern Colorado in a 2-2 tie.
The last time Idaho took on Sacramento St. ended it in a loss 1-2 for the Vandals. The only goal the Vandals scored in that game was assisted by current senior,
Alyssa Peters. The overall record between Idaho and Sacramento St. is 6-7-1. The Vandals have a two-game loss record against the Hornets but have every ambition needed to turn that record around.
