Vandal Women's Golf Competes at Eagle Invite in Spokane

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Vandal women's golf is back in action Monday and Tuesday at the Eastern Washington Eagle Invitational at the Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane.

The field for the tournament will include many Big Sky Conference teams.

Idaho comes off a 17th-place finish at the Seattle U Harbottle Invitational last week in Tacoma and looks to find some more consistency with a lineup that has included three freshmen in every tournament this season.

Zoe Newell, one of the three freshmen, will golf in the No. 1 spot after finishing 17th in the tough field last week in Tacoma. Fellow freshman, Emma Kang will compete at No. 2 for Idaho.

Senior Boram Jung is third in the lineup while freshman Emma Heyman and junior Yvonne Vinceri round out the lineup for Idaho. Junior Jenna Bruggeman will compete as an independent.

The Vandals have never competed in the tournament as a team.

The course will play at 6,028 yards and par will be 71.

A live leaderboard will be available on Golfstat.com.
