FARMINGTON, Utah - Marcus Harris intercepted a pass and returned it 70 yards for a touchdown to end any hopes of a Northern Colorado comeback and close out a 27-13 win for the No. 3 Idaho Vandals, Saturday afternoon in Greeley, Colorado.

He led a Vandal defense that held UNC to just 55 yards passing and 186 total yards of offense. The Bears scored just one touchdown in the game. Harris tallied five tackles and a half a tackle for loss in the Idaho win.

For his efforts, he was named the Big Sky Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Harris has 31 career passes defended, tied for second all-time in Idaho history, just three behind career record holder Charlie Oliver (1987-90).

The redshirt junior has 38 tackles on the season, with 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and a team-high seven pass breakups. Idaho has earned seven Big Sky Player of the Week honors this season, highlighted by
Ricardo Chavez, who has been named the Special Teams Player of the Week three times.Â
