MOSCOW, Idaho – The Vandal men finished the day in second place with 113 points while the women finished in third with 70.5 points. Eight Vandals took the podium on the final day of the Big Sky Indoor Championships at the Lauren McCluskey Track. First-place finishers include Spencer Barrera, Lorenz Herrmann, and Mia Sylvester.

Tayler LyDay had a repeat third-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 11.93m. Annika Jozin placed eighth in the high jump with a height of 1.62m, earning points for the women's team.
As a true freshman, Mia Sylvester earned the only first-place finish for the women's team. She smashed her personal best record in the shot put with a distance of 15.75m.
Simone Fedel earned points for the men with a fourth-place finish in the triple jump. The freshman jumped for a personal best distance of 14.50m.

Shea Mattson got the day started for the Vandal men with an eighth-place finish in the mile with a personal best time of 4:06.86. Katja Pattis earned points for the women with a fourth-place finish with a time of 4:54.18.
Jurrian Hering was close to the podium with a fourth-place finish in the 60m hurdles. He ran for a time of 7.98, earning five points for the men.
In the 400m, three Vandals finished with points. Spencer Barrera earned first with a personal best time of 47.04. He earned gold after placing second last season. Alex Ayers followed up behind Barrera in sixth place with a time of 48.50. Prabhasha Wickramaraachchi earned a seventh-place finish for the women with a time of 56.49.
Four Vandals finished in the top-six places in the 60m dash. On the men's side, Mika Brouwer placed fifth followed by Jemini Archer in sixth. Brouwer ran for a personal best time of 6.87 and Archer was right behind at 6.88. On the women's side, Camryn Crouch earned her first podium finish of the day with a third-place time of 7.53. Olivia Martin earned a fifth-place finish with a time of 7.66.
The men took first and second in the 800m run led by Lorenz Herrmann with a time of 1:48.84. Zac Bright pushed his way to the front of the pack to earn second with a time of 1:50.13. Leah Holmgren earned sixth place for the women with a time of 2:10.99.
The Vandals placed second in the 200m on both the men's and women's sides thanks to the efforts of Brouwer and Crouch. Brouwer ran a personal best time of 21.31 and Crouch ran a time of 24.16. Martin was less than half a second behind Crouch at 24.69, earning an eighth-place finish and points for the women.
Kelsey Swenson picked up points for the women with a seventh-place finish in the 3,000m. She ran for a time of 9:37.32.
The 4x400 relays closed out the day with first and third-place finishes. Deyondre Davis, Ayers, Herrmann, and Barrera ran for the men placing first with a time of 3:12.34. Martin, Belen Garcia Arias, Franziska Stoehr, and Wickramaraachchi ran for the women placing third with a time of 3:44.18.
