MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's tennis team competed in its final match of the season at the Kibbie Dome, topping North Dakota, 5-2 on Friday night. 
  
The Vandals started match play by taking the doubles point. Jayanne Palma and Valentina Rodas earned a 6-3 victory at No. 2 while Saffron Dowse and Rachelle Starreveld posted another 6-3 result at No. 3 to give Idaho a 1-0 advantage. 
 
Idaho posted victories in singles action at Nos. 1, 3, 4 and 6 en route to earning a 5-2 victory. 
 
Annabel Davis won in three sets on court one over North Dakota's Nyah Kaunders, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to earn her fifth straight singles win. 
 
Rodas posted a 6-3, 6-4 victory on court three while Selin Sepken won at No. 4 by a score of 6-2, 6-2. Palma closed out match play with a 6-2, 6-7, 10-4 decision over Angela Georgieva. 
 
Up Next
The Vandals turn their attention to conference play with a road trip to compete against the Montana schools. The week gets started with a match against the Bobcats on March 24 before rounding out the week against the Grizzlies on March 26.
