SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Vicky Tsai finished 16th and the Idaho Vandal women finished seventh at the Big Sky Conference Championship which wrapped up play Wednesday at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Tsai finished four-over on the day and six-over for the tournament to take 16th in the field of 50 golfers.
Yvonne Vinceri put up the Vandals' best score Wednesday to move up to T24 on the weekend at nine-over. Baipor Khunsri finished 30th at 11-over.
Kyndall Newman was five-over on the day to finish 43rd at 23-over on the weekend.
Boram Jung and
Jenna Bruggeman split time at the five spot, neither player qualifying for the individual competition.
As a team, the Vandals were 904 (+40) for the weekend. Idaho recorded the best round on Monday at 296.
The tournament wraps up a promising season for the Vandals that saw Idaho take three top-four team finishes, including a pair of runner-up spots. Vandals earned top-10 finishes eight times, and three Idaho Players earned All-Conference honors.
