MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Vandal football begins 2023 fall football camp Monday, July 31 in Moscow.
 
The Vandals enter the season with high expectations after returning the bulk of 2022's high powered offense, including Big Sky Conference Preseason Offensive MVP Hayden Hatten and the reigning Jerry Rice Award winner Gevani McCoy.

Idaho brings back key pieces of the defense that led the Big Sky in interceptions, including Pre-season All-Conference honoree Marcus Harris.
 
Idaho opens the season on Thursday, Aug. 31 on the road in Beaumont, Texas against Lamar University.
 
Practice is open to the public and will either take place in the Kibbie Dome or on the practice field on the east side of the Kibbie Dome.
 
MEDIA
• Media members are encouraged to attend practices during fall camp.
• Interviews with coaches and student-athletes will take place at the end of practice. Interview requests should go through the Idaho Athletic Communications office.
• When classes begin, practice will move to 3:45 p.m.
• During game weeks players will not be available two days prior to game day (example Saturday game, no availability Thursday or Friday.)
 
PHOTO/VIDEO
• Photography and video are allowed during practices, but media members are encouraged to shoot tight to the subject and not show formations or signals from coaches.
• Photo and video of practice that are taken by athletics staff are available upon request.
 
MEDIA DAY
If media members would like to shoot feature photos or videos with student-athletes or coaches, we encourage them to take advantage of media day where they will be in full jerseys for their team photos, etc.
 
PRESS CONFERENCES
Vandal coaches will participate in a weekly press conference on Mondays at 1 p.m. throughout the year. The first weekly press conference will begin on Monday, Aug. 28.
