SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah – Yvonne Vinceri put together three solid rounds to finish tied for 14th at the Big Sky Conference 54 for IX golf tournament held at TalonsCove on the banks of Lake Utah in Saratoga Springs.
Vinceri, who was golfing as an independent, finished even-par for the week, highlighted by a one-under 71 in round two. As an independent her score doesn't count towards the team score.
Freshmen
Emma Heyman and
Emma Kang went both went five-over 221 for the tournament to finish tied for 25th.
Zoe Newell was just one stroke back at six-over 222 to finish tied for 31st.
Jenna Bruggeman was eight-over 224 and tied for 42nd.
Boram Jung rounded out the showing for the Vandals at 10-over 226 for the week.
Idaho finished tied for six with a three-round score of 881.
The Vandals return to action on Oct. 2-3 at the Pat Harbottle Seattle U Invite at the Tacoma Country Club in Lakewood, Washington.
