MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho Track and Field has added another elite athlete to the class of 2024 in champion sprinter Alyssa Marsh. Marsh is a four-time first-team all-conference honoree from Richland High School in Richland, Washington.
Marsh earned three titles in the women's 200m in her 2023 junior campaign. She kicked off the year with first-place finishes at the Ray Cross Invitational (25.78) and the Pasco Invitational (25.44) before taking the District 8 Championship title at a 25.62 mark. She earned a second consecutive first-team all-conference honor for her 200m performances. Marsh took eighth at the Washington State Championships.
As a sophomore in 2022, Marsh was named first-team all-conference in the women's 200m, 4x100m relay, and the 4x400m relay as a member of the conference champion Richland Bombers.
A two-sport athlete, Marsh is also a two-time First-Team Mid-Columbia Conference goalkeeper for the back-to-back conference champion Richland Bombers' girls soccer team.
"U of I stood out to me because it's a very spirited school and the local community is very supportive of the University and its students," said Marsh of the University of Idaho.
Marsh plans to study either pre-vet or criminology.
