MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho Track has announced its next signee for the 2024 class, Cami Cvitkovich, a high jumper from Eden, Utah.
Cvitkovich is a two-time Utah state champion in the high jump where she broke the state record at 5'9 3/4 (1.71m). For her accomplishments, Cvitkovich was given an award for being one of Utah's top athletes by Deseret News.
The Utah native was a former gymnast who got into high jump in seventh grade. It paid off as she now gets the chance to compete for Idaho. "The University of Idaho has a very special program that stood out to me," said Cvitkovich. "There is an excellent culture and fun environment that I cannot wait to be a part of."
She fell in love with Moscow and the coaches and athletes at Idaho making the decision an easy one. Cvitkovich plans on studying business in hopes of aiding a future career in construction management. "I am most looking forward to traveling and competing with the team and I am so excited to make many more friends," exclaimed Cvitkovich.
