MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho Track and Field heads south to California's Bay Area for two meets at Stanford University and San Francisco State University this weekend. The Vandals will send 30 of its athletes to the Stanford Invitational and a handful will compete at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic hosted by San Francisco State. Both meets will run Friday through Saturday.
Camryn Crouch,
Olivia Martin, and
Hanna Tait are set to compete in the women's 200m. Martin holds the conference's sixth fastest 200m time this season at 24.54.
Martin will also race the 400m and Crouch is slated for the 100m.
Four Vandals are entered in the women's 400m hurdles.
Franziska Stoehr won the title at last week's Buc Scoring Invite at 1:01.05.
Prabhasha Wickramaarachchi,
Lara Holzhauer, and Belen Garcia-Arias took second through fourth.
Senior
Ellie Grant is set to compete in the women's high jump and triple jump.
Sophomore
Mia Sylvester earned podium finishes in the women's shot put, discus, and hammer throw at the Buc Scoring Invite last week. She will compete in the shot put and discus at Stanford this weekend.Â
Jemini Archer finished first in the men's 100m last weekend with a time of 10.75, he will be joined by teammate
Jurrian Hering this weekend in the 100m at Stanford.
Spencer Barrera and Archer will also compete in the 200m. Barrera will then race the men's 400m with teammate
Jon Watkins.Â
Zac Bright,
Lorenz Herrmann,
Ethan Sturdivant, and
Gage Zanette will race the men's 800m.Â
Herrmann and Zanette will then join
Shea Mattson and
Tim Stevens in the 1500m.
Herrmann stands atop the Idaho record books in the men's 800m (1:46.90) and 1500m (3:41.93).
Deyondre Davis is set for the men's 400m hurdles as the lone Vandal but will race alongside Hering and
Landon Peterson in the 110m hurdles.
Dante Cox enters the weekend holding a victory in the men's high jump from last week's Buc Scoring Invite. Cox jumped 1.97m.
Joe Reiber and
Joseph Ruddell are also slated for the high jump.Â
Noah Culbertson heads to Stanford competing in the men's discus throw and the shot put. Freshman
Gioele Tengattini will also compete in the shot put.Â
Five Vandals are competing at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic at San Francisco State.Â
Blossom Omogor will compete in the women's 400m after securing her first title in the same race at the Buc Scoring Invite last week. The freshman ran a personal-best 56.37.
Jake Hisaw is entered in the men's 400m hurdles,
Jana Willems will compete in the women's 200m, and
Sam Fulbright in the men's 3000m steeplechase.
In the field,
Tayler LyDay will compete in the women's long jump.
The Vandals head back to Whitworth University next week for the Whitworth Peace Meet on April 5th.
