MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandals wrapped up their full slate of four meets with crews in Southern California and Spokane, Washington from Thursday to Saturday evening.
PACIFIC COAST INVITATIONAL - THURSDAY, APRIL 11
The women's 4x100 relay squad of
Prabhasha Wickramaarachchi,
Camryn Crouch,
Jana Willems, and
Olivia Martin moved up in the record books with the third-fastest time in Idaho history at 45.90 for a sixth-place finish.
WHITWORTH TWILIGHT AND ALUMNI MEET - THURSDAY, APRIL 11
Three Vandals earned podium finishes at Whitworth's Twilight and Alumni Meet. Freshman
Constanze Paoli took first in the women's 3000m steeplechase at an 11:15.23 mark.
Emelia Puerta finished second with a personal-best 12.69 in the women's 100 and
Evan Henkel finished second in the men's 400 at 50.41, a personal record.
BEACH INVITATIONAL - FRIDAY, APRIL 12 - SATURDAY, APRIL 13
Miles Ferguson and
Tyler Graff finished with personal bests at second and third, respectively, in the men's 3000m Steeplechase on Friday. Ferguson crossed the tape at 9:22.38 and Graff followed at 9:27.73.
Noah Culbertson took 15th in the men's shot put, throwing 17.25m on Saturday.
BRYAN CLAY INVITATIONAL - THURSDAY, APRIL 11 - SATURDAY, APRIL 13
Freshman
Loudan Hicks threw a new personal record of 52.64m in the men's hammer throw on Friday. Hicks finished in fifth place.
For the women, freshman
Keerat Dhillon also achieved a personal-best, throwing 48.30m for 17th.
Gioele Tengattini achieved a top-five finish with a 49.32m mark in the men's discus.
Annika Jozin took third in the women's high jump (B) with a 1.69m mark for a new personal record on Saturday, while
Joe Reiber matched his all-time best, 1.93m, for 10th in the men's high jump (A).
Moving to the track,
Blossom Omogor continued to improve with a new best time of 55.56 finishing 27th in the women's 400.
Jurrian Hering ran his fastest time of the season at 14.24 in the men's 100 hurdles for eight place.
Franziska Stoehr ran a new personal record in the women's 400 hurdles finishing in eighth at a 59.86 mark.
Camryn Crouch took twelfth in the women's 200m at a season-best 24.16.
The Vandals return to the Palouse next weekend for the Cougar Classic at Washington State University, Saturday, April 20th.
