Reflecting on his decision to come to Moscow, Ampofo states, "I chose to pursue my collegiate track and field/academic career at the University of Idaho because the facilities such as the Kibbie Dome appealed to me as well as the success of the jumps program. Additionally, the team's high average GPA reflects a strong academic culture, which aligns perfectly with my goals of excelling both athletically and academically."

Ampofo plans to study Biology and looks forward to recording more jump PRs and catching some Vandal Football games in the process.
