MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's golf team hopes to continue its improvement as it enters the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club in Tacoma, Washington, Monday and Tuesday.
The Vandals improved by 31 strokes from the first tournament to the second, led by junior
Kaylin Johnson who earned her first top-10 finish at the Eagle Invitational after finishing with a final round 68.
She will golf in the No. 1 spot in Tacoma.
Emma Heyman also tallied a second-round 68 in the second round of the Eagle Invite and will golf at the No. 2 spot for the Vandals.
Emma Kang will compete at No. 3 for Idaho,
Zoe Newell will play at the No. 4 spot and
Jenna Bruggeman will play at No. 5.
Freshman Laura Caamano will compete as an individual.
The tournament includes teams from around the country, including teams from the Big Sky Conference, the West Coast Conference, the WAC, Southland, Big West, Summit League and more.
The course will play as a par-72 at 6,014 yards.
