MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandals are gearing up to take on two opponents in Idaho this weekend. The team will host UC San Diego on Thursday, September 5th at 6:00 p.m. PST in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. Idaho will then hit the road to face Boise State on Sunday, September 8th at 12:00 p.m. PST.
ABOUT IDAHO
Idaho will be entering the upcoming matches coming off a 2-1 victory at home last weekend against IU Indianapolis. The win was secured by a header goal from
Hannah Alfaro-Black and a one-touch shot from
Margo Schoesler. After the win, Idaho's overall season record sits at 3-2.
ABOUT UC SAN DIEGO
The UC San Diego Tritons hold a record of 2-4 before facing Idaho. The team saw defeat in their last match, losing to California Baptist 0-1.
The Tritons and Vandals have contested against each other once before in 2022. The Vandals came out victorious with a score of 2-0.
ABOUT BOISE STATE
Boise State started their season with a three-game winning streak, defeating Portland State, Idaho State, and UC Riverside.
The two Idaho teams have challenged each other many times and go into the match with a 5-13-2 record favoring the Broncos.
