MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandal Athletic Department had the best academic semester in department history, recording a department wide 3.52 GPA for the fall semester. Two programs, football and tennis recorded program record GPAs.
 
All 14 Idaho programs recorded at least a 3.12 team GPA and 280 student-athletes achieved at least a 3.0 GPA while 104 recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
Men's cross country led all programs with a 3.88 team GPA for the fall, but 12 of the 14 programs had at least a 3.5 GPA.
 
Vandal football recorded a 3.32 GPA with 86 student-athletes earning at least a 3.0 GPA. Men's Tennis recorded a program record 3.74 GPA with all seven student-athletes picking up at least a 3.0 GPA.
 
Along with men's cross country and men's tennis, women's tennis (3.84), women's cross country (3.77) and volleyball all recorded at least a 3.7 team GPA.
 
The University of Idaho spring semester begins Wednesday.
