Wells Morrison Signs With Vandals

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho women's basketball head coach Arthur Moreira announced the signing of guard Addy Wells Morrison to the Class of 2026 on Friday morning.

A 6-foot tall native of Spokane, Wash., Wells Morrison is a standout at Mead High School where over the course of her high school career she has led the Panthers to the state title game her sophomore year, and was named to the All GSL 4A/3A First Team last season.

"I'm very excited to add Add to our Vandal Family. She is a hard worker and has a tremendous defensive IQ, which will fit in great with our system and allows her to guard multiple positions," Moreira said of his latest signing. "She has great size and passing ability and runs the floor hard. Her shooting continues to improve, she has an amazing work ethic, and is always in the gym. I think she will be a very good player in the Big Sky in the future."

As a junior at Mead, Wells Morrison averaged 16.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per outing. In her school's final game in the state tournament, Wells Morrison led the Panthers with 18 points. As a sophomore, she put up 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per contest for a team that went 25-2 and advanced to the state championship game.

She is the daughter of Ashley Wells and former Gonzaga standout and NBA player Adam Morrison.
