The Idaho momentum wouldn't be stopped in the third. A layup by Dos Santos put the Vandals up by 32 with 6:04 left in the third. Both teams spent the rest of the period going back and forth trading buckets, but
Ella Uriarte splashed a buzzer-beater to regain Idaho's 32-point advantage at the end of the third.
UC Riverside made a late run, but ultimately Idaho had more than enough in the bank to record its fourth victory of the season, giving the Vandals their best start since the 2018-19 season.
