Idaho Leads Big Sky, Four Vandals Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

MOSCOW, Idaho – The 2024-25 Academic All-District Teams were announced by the College Sports Communicators earlier this week. Idaho's Jennifer Aadland, Hope Hassmann, Olivia Nelson, and Rosie Schweizer were all named to the Academic All-District Team.

In order to receive the award, student-athletes must have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, and they must compete in 90 percent or start in 66 percent of the team's competitions throughout the season, they also need to excel on the court.

Schweizer is a three-time recipient of the award, Aadland has received the award twice, and this is Hassmann and Nelson are both first-time recipients. Idaho's electric backcourt of Hassmann and Nelson are also selected as CSC Academic All-American Finalists, which will be voted on by members of CSC. They are two of the five student-athletes from the Big Sky Conference who were tabbed as finalists for Academic All-American. Honorees for the Academic All-American team will be announced on April 16.

Idaho is one of two Big Sky schools that had four players named to the Academic All-District teams.
