MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandal women's golf team hits the course at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona, for the Bobcat Desert Classic, April 7-9.
The Vandals are coming off of a ninth-place finish at the Georgia State Invitational, but freshman Laura Caamaño finished fourth overall, playing as an individual. This week, she will play at the No. 1 spot in the lineup.
Emma Kang finished ninth in Georgia and will be No. 2 in the lineup.
Emma Heyman will play third in the lineup,
Zoe Newell will play fourth and
Jenna Bruggeman will round out the lineup at fifth overall.
Kaylin Johnson will play as an individual.
The Vandals will play in a field that consists of most of the Big Sky. The course is a par 72 at 6,154 yards. Live scoring will be available via
Scoreboard by Clippd.
The rounds will tee off at 8 a.m. all three days. They will have tee times on Monday and Tuesday with a shotgun start on Wednesday.
