MOSCOW, Idaho – Niveya Henley has signed to play with the Idaho Women's Basketball Team, Head Coach Arthur Moreira announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Henley's four-year career at Furman in Greenville, S.C. included accolades like being named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team in 2021-22, selected to the All-SoCon Third Team in 2023-24, and culminated last season. The 6'0" guard's 2024-25 season with the Paladins resulted in career highs in points per game (11.7), three-point shooting (35.8%), assists per game (1.7), and she chipped in 3.3 rebounds per outing, as well.

During her all-conference year in 2023-24, Henley averaged 10.8 points and a career-high 4.1 rebounds per game.

Henley, originally from Seattle, Wash., spent her prep years at national powerhouse Monteverde Academy in Orlando, Fla. where she competed against some of the best talent from around the world.

Known for her competitiveness and scoring versatility, Henley recorded career highs of 24 points (most recently against Erskine on Nov. 7, 2024) and nine rebounds (most recently against UNC-Asheville on Dec. 11, 2024) during her tenure with the
Paladins.

"Niveya will be a great fit for our program! She has a great resume, having played for some of the best high school and AAU programs in the country and is coming off a great career at Furman. Her combination of size, strength and skill will translate very well into what we do, and she will be a match-up problem in the Big Sky. She is also a competitor. Niveya wants to win and will put in all the work needed to do so."
