MOSCOW, Idaho - Following their homestand, the Vandals will return to the road to take on Grand Canyon under the Phoenix sun on Thursday, September. 11, at 7:30 p.m. PT inside the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.
SERIES HISTORY
Rewinding back to 2016, Idaho took a 3-1 triumph over GCU in their most recent meeting. Overall, the Vandals and the Lopes hold an even 2-2 all-time record dating back to 2013.
ABOUT IDAHO
Before facing the Lopes, the Vandals hold a 3-2-2 record in non-conference action. Most recently, Idaho has seen an in-house 1-0 victory against UTEP. Striking early with a header from
Calli Chiarelli, they got an edge that the Miners could not recover from.
ABOUT GCU
The Lopes enter Thursday's match with a 3-2 record after falling to Sam Houston 0-1 in their most recent game. GCU is led by Chris Cissell, who is starting his sixth season with the team.
UP NEXT
The Vandals will look to advance their record during these final few matches prior to entering Big Sky Play. Idaho will move west on to challenge CSU Bakersfield on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. PT.
