MOSCOW, Idaho - Vandal Track and Field is set to continue its indoor campaign as the team travels back to Spokane, Wash., for the Inland Northwest Invitational. Events are scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. with Idaho competing in the women's weight throw and men's shot put.

The Vandals are coming off a strong home meet that saw multiple athletes push towards school records. Cami Cvitkovich is one to watch after a career high a week ago. Not only is she close to topping the Idaho record books, but the sophomore is coming into this weekend's meet with a new personal best of 1.75, ranking second among Big Sky high jumpers. The women will also have five athletes in the long jump, including Jada Miller and Mara Fuerniss, who each set new PRs last weekend and find their names within the top eight in the Big Sky.

Idaho's throws team will have multiple competitors in both the shot put and weight throw. The freshman and senior duo of Kathryn Burnette and Beatriz Marciano look to continue to improve in both events, with Marciano placed in the Big Sky top 10 in both, while junior Gioele Tengattini will be in the men's shot put following his huge 17.30 meter throw last meet. 

On the track side, Idaho is a strong contender in various events. Blossom Omogor will continue to be a key athlete for the women as she competes in the 60m, 200m, and 400m, after posting top nine Big Sky times during her last meet at The Podium. As for the men, sophomore Keenan Kuntz will be seen in the 60m and 200m after his great debut meet as a Vandal at the Spokane Showcase, where he set the 60m school record and ran the second fastest 200 time in the conference. Idaho will also run teams in both the men's and women's 4x400 meter relay to close competition Saturday.

UP NEXT
The Vandals will be back on the Lauren McCluskey Track for the Idaho Team Challenge on February 6th. They will then travel to Seattle for the Husky Classic a week later to kick off President's Weekend.
