FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -  Isaiah Brickner's first career 30-piece guided the Vandals to a convincing 79-62 victory over Northern Arizona for Idaho's fourth straight win on Findlay Toyota Court and fifth win in Big Sky play this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Brickner was the Vandals' hot hand from the beginning, scoring 12 of Idaho's first 24 points to help the Black and Gold jump on a sluggish start from the Lumberjacks and pull out to a quick 24-9 lead.

NAU would respond with eight straight points over the next two and a half minutes to pull back within single digits, before Kolton Mitchell fired off a quick triple to help swing momentum back in Idaho's favor. The sophomore guard continued to be a difference maker for the remainder of the half, helping the Vandals build a 24-point gap before the break. Jack Payne was a major contributor to this early effort, scoring 13 and snagging four boards in the opening period, alongside a massive 18-point half from Brickner, who went 7-9 from the field. 

The San Diego native continued to deliver in the second half, splashing a couple of threes in the 10 minutes following the break. The senior tacked on another clip to his ever-growing highlight reel at the 14-minute mark, shaking and baking a defender in the corner before finding nothing but net on a wide-open three to push Idaho's lead back to 20 after the 'Jacks began the period on a 14-9 run.

The hosts would not go away, scoring 21 of the game's next 35 points to pull back within 15 with just over five minutes to play. Seth Joba ensured this was as close as NAU would get, converting a big three-pointer and a layup from Brickner pushed the lead back to 20, as Idaho would see out the remaining three minutes to win 79-62. The Vandals never trailed, leading from the 19:46 mark on, completing their fifth wire-to-wire win of the season, the most by any Big Sky team.

The Vandals will continue their four-game road trip by traveling to the Treasure State next week to face Montana State on Thursday and Montana on Saturday. Both games will air on ESPN+, the Vandal Radio Network, and the Varsity Network app.
