MOSCOW, Idaho — Idaho women's soccer team continues its Big Sky Conference Road trip Sunday, Oct. 11, in Flagstaff, Arizona, taking on NAU at Lumberjack Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 PM PST.
The Vandals enter the road contest on a five-match unbeaten streak after battling Northern Colorado to a scoreless draw Thursday afternoon in Greeley.
Idaho's defense held strong against the Bears despite being outshot 11-5. Goalkeeper Paula Flores recorded two saves to secure her program-record 24th career shutout, while the Vandals finished with three shots on goal.
Before Thursday's hard-fought draw, Idaho earned a powerful 3-0 victory over Idaho State at home, with goals from leading scorer Hallie Prinos-Grumbach, Georgia Whitehead and Makenna Stuart. The Vandals have allowed just one goal through their first three conference matchups.
Idaho has continued to rely on its consistent defense throughout the season, recording eight straight shutouts in 13 matches, allowing only six goals.
Northern Arizona enters the matchup with a 5-4-2 overall record and a 1-0 mark in conference play following their 1-0 victory against Eastern Washington on Thursday.
The Lumberjacks seem to have found its rhythm in recent weeks, extending their unbeaten streak to four matches and earning consecutive victories for the first time this season.
The NAU offense is led by redshirt junior forward, Micala Boex, who has recorded five goals so far this season and was named Big Sky Preseason MVP after her Co-Offensive MVP honors in 2025. Boex has continued playing a key role in the Lumberjacks' offensive attack this year.
Boex scored her second game-winning goal in the win over Eastern Washington on Thursday, helping lead the team to their first conference victory.
The Lumberjacks enter Sunday's contest looking to remain unbeaten in conference play, while Idaho aims to extend its unbeaten streak and earn its second Big Sky victory of the season.
