LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Idaho Vandal women's golf team moved up two spots, and four players climbed the leaderboard in the final round of the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate at Wigwam Blue in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
 
Zoe Newell went one-under in round three to jump 23 spots on the leaderboard to t23rd and led the Vandals with a score of 10-over for the tournament. Boram Jung finished 11-over for the tournament to finish in a tie for 27th place.
 
Kaylin Johnson closed the tournament with back-to-back birdies to finish tied for 46th with a score of 17-over. Laura Caamano was 51st at 18-over and Diya Brar and Ella Kozak (Ind) tied for 55th.
 
The Vandals began the day in 11th place and jumped two teams to finish ninth overall.
 
Idaho is back in action at the GCU Invitational on Feb. 24-25 in Phoenix.
