MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals Women's Basketball team (21-5, 12-1) continues its march through Big Sky Conference play and hosts Portland State (6-19, 2-11). Thursday's game will be Star Wars Night presented by Village Centre Cinemas.

The game will tip off at 6 p.m. PT and can be seen on ESPN+. Trevor Williams and Stephen Madison will be on the call on TV. Doug Taylor, the Voice of the Vandals, can be heard over the airwaves on the Vandal Athletics Radio Network with the pregame show starting at 12:40 p.m. PT.

Idaho enters this game on a 10-game winning streak and sits high atop the Big Sky Conference standings. The Vandals were ranked No. 21 in this week's Mid-Major Top 25. The Vandals are also coming off a week in which they went to Ogden and Pocatello, beating Weber State and Idaho State, and taking home King Spud for the first time since it was remade a few years ago. Against Portland State in the all-time series that dates back to 1976, the Vandals hold a 38-15 lead and have won 23 of the last 26 against the Vikings dating back to 2007. Portland State has never won in ICCU Arena.

With an average of nearly 80 points per game this season, Idaho has the highest-scoring offense in the Big Sky this season. The Vandals currently have four players who are averaging double-digits in scoring with Hope Hassmann, Kyra Gardner, Debora Dos Santos, and Ana Pinheiro.

Idaho is also one of the best rebounding teams in the nation, led by Dos Santos, who is grabbing nearly eight rebounds per contest. As a team, the Vandals lead the Big Sky Conference in every major rebounding statistic and are ranked in the national top 20 in each of those categories, too.

Portland State is led by first-year head coach Karlie Burris who has the Vikings at a 6-19 (2-11) record. The Vikings are putting up 64.4 points per game, but surrendering 74.6 points per contest.
