MOSCOW, Idaho  In the Idaho Men's Tennis team's first match of the weekend in Boise, the Vandals fell to Boise State 7-0.
The Vandals went into the match battling multiple injuries and sickness. Despite the tide being against them, Idaho fought diligently.
In the doubles matches, Idaho had Gabriel Moroder and Chetanna Amadike in the one-spot, Mikolaj Lis and Noe De Col in the two, and Paul Janson alongside Eric Wang in the three.
The Italian and Canadian duo fought hard in their match, gaining a strong 5-1 lead, but ultimately the match was declared unfinished as Idaho's other doubles teams fell.
During singles, Janson came out with fiery energy, going on to win his first set in a 6-7 tiebreak. Moving into a second set, the two sides opted for a first-to-10 tiebreaker, where Janson took the Bronco player to the wire but was unable to close it out.
In the end, the Vandals were unable to overcome the Broncos, falling to Boise State 7-0.

UP NEXT: Tomorrow, February 7, Idaho will return to action to go head-to-head with Linfield at 10 a.m. MT followed by a second shot at Boise State at 6 p.m. MT.
