MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Men's Tennis team opened Big Sky Conference play against in-state rival Idaho State and Sacramento State.

In the battle for the early point, Idaho had a clean 3-0 sweep over the Bengals. On court one, Sander Paradis and Mikolaj Lis found themselves down early in the match 3-5, 30-40, in favor of Idaho State. The doubles team with an average height of 6'7" did not waver as they battled back, coming out on top 7(7), 6(3).

In singles matches, the Vandals displayed a dominant performance over Idaho State as the Brave and Bold took victories on courts one, three, and four, securing the Vandal Victory 4-1.

On court one, Chetanna Amadike secured his win 6-4, 7-5. Amadike clinched the doubles point as well as the match for Idaho.

On court three, Mikolaj Lis found his rhythm early as he took the first set 6-2. Lis' Bengal opponent began to pick up the pace in the second set, but it was not enough to overcome Idaho's Poland native's powerful serves. Lis took the second set 7-6.

The boys in black and gold closed the day with a victory over Idaho State resulting in a final score of 5-2.

Vs. Sacramento State

The following day, the Brave and Bold went head-to-head against Sacramento State, where they executed a dominant 7-0 victory.

Gabriel Moroder had a scrappy over the Hornet's Nick Bowles. The two danced back and forth until Moroder ultimately came out on top 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

Idaho gained momentum early on as it secured the doubles point and never looked back. The Vandals went on to sweep Sacramento State to extend their conference record to 2-0
