MOSCOW, Idaho – There is something about Johns Creek, Georgia, that brings the best out of Laura Caamaño. For the second year in a row, she earned a top 10 finish at the Georgia State Invitational. She finished T7th and for her efforts was named the Big Sky Player of the Week.
Caamaño racked up 11 birdies over the three rounds. She was one-over 73 on each of her three rounds on the challenging course to tie for seventh with three others.
She is the second Vandal to earn Big Sky Player of the Week, joining
Zoe Newell who was the Player of the Week in September.
