High school: Graduated in 2004 from Long Beach Poly ... three-year letterman ... played defensive end, defensive tackle and center ... during senior season had five quarterback sacks and was fifth on team in total tackles ... earned all-California Interscholastic Federation, all-Moore League and all-area Dream Team recognition as a senior ... also played basketball for three seasons at Long Beach Poly.
