2007: Allen came to Idaho as a highly touted linebacker from Texas’ Cedar Park High School ... as a true freshman, he found his way to the field on special teams and as a reserve to a veteran linebacking corps ... he tallied seen total tackles for the season with highs of two against Fresno State, Louisiana Tech and Boise State ... he also recovered one fumble ... Elite Eleven award winner.

High school: Two-year starter .. two-time all-District 14-5A selection ... was District 14-5A Defensive MVP ... Texas high school defensive player of the year in 5A classification ... all-academic honors ... three-year varsity player ... led team in tackles with 166 ... also had eight sacks ... also had one 100-plus yard rushing game ... academic all-state honors.
