2013: Key member of the Vandals’ linebacking corps ... started all 12 games at middle linebacker ... finished with 50 total tackles (30 solo and 20 assists) ... also had two pass breakups and one tackle for loss (-2 yards).
Junior college: Martinez was a key contributor on the Rams’ 2012 state runner-up. As a sophomore, Martinez totaled 38 tackles (19 solo and 19 assists) as well as one sack (-10 yards) and 3.5 tackles for loss (-22 yards).
High school: Martinez is a 2010 graduate of Napa (Calif.) High School.
