Proof of Vehicle Ownership and Housing Leases

1. All student-athletes must submit a copy of their off-campus housing lease/rental agreement and vehicle registration to the Compliance Office prior to being certified for competition. 
   • Insurance cards do not suffice to meet the car registration requirement. We need a document verifying ownership of the vehicle.
   • If you or your family owns the residence you live in (rather than renting or leasing), contact the compliance office for further instruction on how to meet this requirement.
2. During the academic year, if a student-athlete moves to a different off-campus location or begins to drive a different/new vehicle, the student-athlete is responsible for informing the compliance office and updating the compliance office with required documentation.
3. Student-athletes living on the University of Idaho's campus do not have to provide proof of housing. Student-athlete who are not using a vehicle on campus do not have to provide proof of vehicle ownership.
