2013: Started all 12 games at free safety and was the Vandals’ second-leading tackler with 89 (71 solo, 18 assists) ... led the team in solo stops ... also had three tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one interception, one quarterback hurry and one fumble recovery ...  best game was 15 (12 solo and three assists) vs. Fresno State ... also had a double-digit outing at New Mexico State with 10 tackles (eight solo and two assists).
2012: Played in all 12 games ... had 43 total tackles (21 solo and 22 assists) ... also had one interception (vs. Utah State) and a half tackle for loss.
2011: Played in all 12 games on special teams and in the secondary ... had 23 total tackles (nine solo and 14 assists) ... also had a 37-yard interception return for a TD against North Dakota ... recorded one pass breakup as well.
High school: As a senior, had 84 solo stops and 33 assists for 117 total in addition to two interceptions, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one blocked punt ... 4.5 40 ... as a junior, had 78 tackles (57 solo and 21 assists) for an average of 6.5 per game ... also had two interceptions, three passes defensed, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and three blocked field goals ... was a second team all-District 16-5A selection as a senior and junior ... as a sophomore had 12 total tackles in a backup role ... as a top 30 defensive back by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football ... team captain as a junior and as a senior ... Dazzling Dozen Defensive Newcomer of the Year.
