Winchell started with the Vandals in June of 2023 as the Director of Video and Technology Services.
In his position, Winchell handles all game and practice film for Vandal football as well as the other Vandal sports.
Prior to Idaho, Winchell worked as a student assistant at the University of Houston with the football program. While in Houston, he also worked with the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) on the game day video staff.
Winchell graduated from the University of Houston in 2023 with a Bachelor's in Sport Administration.
The Eau Claire, Wis. native is joined by his wife Hailey and their son, Miles.
