Junior college: Helped Dean to a 6-4 record this season on an offensive line that did not allow a single sack … voted Most Improved by his teammates and was an honorable mention all-Northeast Football Conference choice … chose the University of Idaho over Jackson State, Delaware State, McNeese State and Georgia State.

High school: Two-year starter at McMain … played in Max Emfinger Bowl after his senior season at McMain … was a 2011 Louisiana Sportswriters Association Class 3A all-state honorable mention … earned all-state and all-district honors ... honor roll.
