Biography

2014: Redshirted.

High school: Luton thrived at Marysville-Pilchuck, a school with a history of running the ball, with both his passing and running capabilities. He led his team to the Wesco 3A league championship as a senior. He completed seven of nine passes for 137 yards and three touchdowns in the championship game in becoming the school’s best passer ever. As a junior, he threw form more than 1,300 yards while gaining an addition 450 on the ground. He was responsible for 12 touchdowns. In a review in Northwest Prep report, he was described this way: “His vision is excellent, rarely missing a receiver opening up. The long arms and height that his is delivering the ball from keeps it well above out-reaching hands of defenders. And his trajectory and spin on his passes is spot-on text book.”
