2014: Hastriter played in all 29 matches, making two starts in 2014…hit a career high .643 (9-0-14) at home against Montana…averaged 2.35 kills per and 2.51 points per set…totaled a season-high 16 kills in Idaho’s win over Northern Arizona (Oct. 2)…had 11 matches with 10 or more kills…earned All-Tournament honors at the Idaho Nike Invitational.
2013: Hastriter played in 29 matches and made four starts for the Vandals in 2013…she averaged 3.03 kills, 0.84 digs and 0.33 blocks per set with a .244 hitting percentage…her .244 hitting percentage ranked 10th in the WAC, while her 3.03 kills were fourth-best in the league…earned All-Tournament team honors at the NAU Fiesta Bowl Tournament…had a career-high 23 kills on Sept. 14 against North Texas while hitting .538 in that match…had 21 matches with 10 or more kills…had a career-high 13 digs at New Mexico State on Oct. 5…had four aces at Texas-Pan American on Oct. 3, accounting for all of her aces on the season.
2012: Hastriter averaged 1.66 kills per set while hitting .104 for the season...she played in 15 matches and appeared in 29 sets...she also added 0.45 digs and 0.24 blocks per set...she had two double-digit kill matches on the season, including a career-high 14 kills on Sept. 3 against Cal State Northridge, when she also hit a career-high .263...she had 12 kills in the WAC quarterfinal match against Texas State, hitting .250 in that match.
2011: Hastriter averaged 1.42 kills, 0.32 blocks, 0.21 digs and 1.61 points per game in 2011...she played in 10 matches and 19 games on the year and had 27 kills and 6.0 total blocks...she hit .113 for the season...had a career-high 13 kills on Oct. 21 at San Jose State...she had five kills at Louisiana Tech on Oct. 1 and finished with four kills at Eastern Washington on Oct. 5...all four of her digs on the season came on Sept. 16 at Long Beach State.
2010: Jessica sat out the 2010 season as a redshirt.
High School: Hastriter attended Columbia High School in Nampa, Idaho where she played on the volleyball team and also competed in track and field...was a three-year starter on the volleyball team and team captain her senior year...was a First Team All-Conference selection as a senior as she led her team to a 16-0 conference record...was SIC 4A Outstanding Player of the Year and Idaho Statesman Player of the Week...earned a spot on the BRVBC 18-1 national team...was named team's Best Offensive Player as a junior and was an All-Conference selection...in track and field Hastriter was district champion and placed fifth in state in the high jump her junior year, and was state champion in the high jump (5') and triple jump (36'8") her senior year.
