2016: Key figure as a blocker in a running game that developed into a force over the course of the season ... played in all 13 games ... didn’t have a carry but had one pass reception for two yards.
2015: Herman was a two-year starter at fullback at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (Miami, Okla.). He exceled as a blocking back and was rewarded as a freshman and sophomore with recognition on the all-Southwest Junior College Football Conference’s all-league. He was the league’s all-purpose back as a sophomore and was honorable mention as a freshman.
High school: He is a graduate of Tulsa (Okla.) East Central High School where he also exceled in track and wrestling. After earning all-district recognition as a linebacker, he finished sixth in the state wrestling tournament with a 31-7 record before turning his attention to track and field. He was fourth in the state in the shot put, and ran a leg of the 4x200 relay team.
